1/2 cup red wine to taste
1 1/2 pounds beef, sliced
1 onion, chopped
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon hot water
In a pint canning jar, combine red wine, onion, mushrooms, ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, hot water and milk. Darken water to cover. Place into a slow cooker and cook.
