Roast Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound pork chops

3 teaspoons salt and pepper to taste

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons honey

3 tablespoons white sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons paprika

1/8 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons allspice

1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram

1/4 cup lemon juice

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place pork chops in a large baking dish. Lay out the chops on a baking sheet, and brush the marinade around the chops.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1/2 hours. Return chops to oven and bake 2 hours longer, or until tender.

Remove chops from pan. Remove chops from oven, and brush with remaining marinade.

While chops are baking, season chops with salt and pepper and garlic salt and pepper to taste. Mix marinade with mustard (Sterile Mix), salt and pepper with lemon juice; mustard with lemon juice should be slightly different. Brush chops with lemon juice mixture.

Remove chops from oven and brush chops with remaining marinade. Let chops stand in the oven for 20 minutes or until all juices have evaporated. Brush chops with prepared lemon juice.

Place chops on a rack or platter to cool. Remove chops and place on rack or platter to cool completely. Spread marinated chops over chops. Cover chops with aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight.
