1 small onion, finely chopped
1/3 cup mustard seed
1 cup peppercorns
1 1/2 teaspoons orange extract
1 cup distilled white vinegar
Place onion, mustard seed, peppercorns, orange extract and vinegar in blender or food processor or blender with food processor or blender by using a spoon or knife until smooth. Pour mixture into two 4-quart jars or individual mixing bowls. Seal lids and pieces of plastic wrap each jar.
PROCESSOR:
Heat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
REPEAT with remaining ingredients. Place jars in preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes. Remove jars from oven and let cool completely on rack.
