1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 pound sliced jalapeno peppers
2 tablespoons milk
In a medium bowl, mix garlic powder, soy sauce, sugar, water and oil. Cover and refrigerate dough for at least 1 hour before kneading.
On a floured surface, roll the coated dough out to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into 1 inch squares. Place 1/2 inch to 1/3 inch thick slices on hot-roasted whole mushrooms, tomatoes and bell peppers. Brush on garlic powder mixture with milk before spreading on the mushrooms and tomatoes. Cover the peppers and slice into 1 inch strips.
