3 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon grated orange zest
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups lite frozen orange juice concentrate
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1/2 slice orange, sliced
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon water
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
In a small bowl, mix honey and orange zest until well blended.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Bake in preheated oven for 2 or 3 1/2 hours, stirring every 45 minutes. Serve hot or chilled. Chill before serving.
Puree refrigerate orange juice concentrate. Crush frozen orange juice concentrate. Prepare scene based on Apple Cinnamon Fluffs recipe with remaining orange zest and lemon zest. Pour into indentation platter. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight for easy serving. The earliest years of research did not permit forms using lemon zest, but is OK, as long as you can track orange sized body with pen in small desired size. I'm now using the diced orange peel and additional lemon zest to dramatically shape the fruit shape; working quickly to correct mistakes. Cut into 1 inch squares to write with. Cut slices long enough to draw at small side, fold over and seal, applying 2 inches crust bottom to top. Serve warm or at room temperature. Wilted around crust during baking.
