4 ounces beef stew meat, sliced into 1/2 inch thick slices
1 onion, cut into medium bits
1 stalk celery, cut into cubes
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (5 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained
1 (14.5 ounce) can whole kernel corn, undrained
ground black pepper to taste
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place the meat slices in a shallow dish or bowl and mix with onion, celery and garlic. Pour 1/3 cup of the stew mixture over the meat slices, remove meat. Mix the garlic, garbanzo bean and corn together and pour over vegetables.
Place the left over meat slices over the vegetables and arrange with the mixture on top. Sprinkle with chicken soup, cream of chicken soup and cream of mushroom soup.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until steaming.
received lots of helpful tips and suggestions while baking this. i am so excited,I will make this again! ill try using some I've made,but so far it reads like it was made with white rather than dark brown sugar.great recipe and well thought out.
