1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound small Italian sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces
3 tablespoons Italian seasoning
4 cups water
1 pound kielbasa or Polish sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Saute sausage for 5 minutes. Stir in Italian seasoning and water, reduce heat to low.
Add sausage, onion, celery, green bell pepper, green onion, salt, pepper and kielbasa; cook for 5 to 6 minutes or until evenly browned. Stir in onion and celery juice. Stir in cheese and Worcestershire sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low.
Simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.
Stir in cabbage, sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce, and serve.
