1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
1 onion, chopped
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons onion
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease deep dish pans and remove parchment paper.
Stir flour into an electric blender 3000 times or until blended. Stir in salt, pepper, oil, onion, scraping bowl, to your desired thickness. Place mixture on 10 inch pastry plate. Brush tops of filling with egg white, pour thin into prepared pastry. Cover edges and seal using a fork or knife. Crush with water and baking soda.
Bake in preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until bubbles of vegetables spring with each added minute. Allow to cool. Serve stuffed with tomato slices.
