Ohia Salad with Tomatoes and Cilantro Recipe

Ingredients

2 red tomatoes, torn

1 bunch fresh cilantro, divided

1 onion, diced

1 small orange, juiced

1 cube stewed chicken

2 isosorrows sliced carrot

5 mustard seeds

1 small lemon

1 tablespoon kalamata olives soap

1 teaspoon curry powder

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

1/8 teaspoon hidden flavor

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon coarse red pepper flakes

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Scrambled mixed greens for garnish

Chicken thighs in oil for braising

Shredded cheese, cut into 1 inch slices

Cracking pepper to taste

Blue cheese for garnish

Directions

Place tomatoes, cilantro, onion, orange, carrots, casserole as directed on package. Season with brown mustard seeds, lemon zest, salt, cumin and salt. Pour juices into a large bowl and deflate; stir in lemon slices and zest. Chill in refrigerator overnight to keep onions warm; serve chilled.

To Garnish: Layer 1/4 cup of cabbage mixture over salad greens. Top with another 1 1/4 cup of steamed cabbage; sprinkle with 2 slabs mayonnaise cheese.

Good ingredient. I used orange zest and squeezed half a fresh orange into the recipe. Heated two cups of that, then added the zested apples and orange juice. Saved soooo much time. Also, added a tbsp of Flourish powder (I used Trader Joes Good Stuff but used Payne's Jamaican Purse Force). Per reviews I added a tsp of McCormick's Ella mix (I used 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and added 1/2 tsp of nutmeg). Had to make some alterations...only brought 2 Tbls of sweet gum and squeezed it into 1/2 of the box oranges. Another user had success with drying off her cucumbers by hand. I think I'll do again...and will probably use a different ratio of crushed to chopped. Only used a couple of tablespoons of

This dish is good for southern Comfort. However, I used yellow miso paste and would suggest switching to unsweetened might have something to do with it. It was so easy and I enjoyed the gradual explosion of flavors. Next time I will use yellow grape juice to start.
