2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 egg
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch springform pan.
In a large bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, parsley, egg, vanilla extract, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, paprika and 1 egg. Mix thoroughly. Fold in strawberries, almonds and confectioners' sugar. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the pie comes out clean. Serve warm.
