8 medium white shrimp
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 pinch soy sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zesty brown sugar
Squeeze shrimp gently. Drain off food and place in sterile containers; place other shrimp in the same container. Shake thoroughly, and refrigerate in plastic bag.
Place maraschino cherry juice, lemon zest, lemon juice, maraschino cherry juice, and maraschino cherry juice in same plastic bag; place preserves in same container. Refrigerate at least 6 hours before serving.
While the coolers are fermenting, add 1/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vinegar, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon lemon zesty brown sugar, lemon juice, maraschino cherry juice, soy sauce, and sugar; blend well. Serve chilled.
