1 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 10x15 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Add the milk and raisins, mix until well blended.
In a separate medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk mixture and vanilla. Using a wooden spoon, stir the flour mixture into the raisins and walnuts. Pour the batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting.
To make the frosting: In a medium bowl, stir together confectioners' sugar and pecans.
