1 pound potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 cup butter or margarine, divided
1 quart chicken broth
1 medium onion, peeled and diced
1/2 cup diced celery
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed (optional)
In a medium saucepan, combine potatoes, butter or margarine, chicken broth, onion, celery, flour, salt, paprika, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, marjoram, dill.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium, and simmer about 15 minutes.
