1 (16 ounce) package apple pie filling
1/4 cup butter
3 teaspoons brown sugar
1 cup cream of tartar
1 egg white
1 tablespoon bourbon
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 cup reflective milk
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Combine apples puree, butter, brown sugar, cream cheese, eggs and bourbon in large bowl. Mix occasionally until smooth. Fill pie shell with a pie filling mixture.
Place pastry edges on pan and shortening marks on each side. Fill pie shell with butter mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden and golden ends are pulled back. Let cool completely and refrigerate for at least 8 hours before removing foil. Let cool completely before coating pie shell. Glaze pie and vegetables with lemon zest.
