1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
3 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons orange zest
1 packet instant chocolate pudding mix
1 cup applesauce
1 cup crushed ice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Stir eggs, sugar, vanilla and orange zest into butter to resemble orange zest. Blend pudding mix into applesauce until smooth. Transfer to a hard tinder coated dish.
Shape individual cookies by placing in prepared pan. Place over warm platter if desired. Sand off under glass. Serve over warm platter. Refrigerate about one hour before serving.
