Sloppy Joes Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 pounds lean ground beef

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 teaspoons dried onion

1 pound florets

1/4 cup ketchup

2 teaspoons sugar

3 tablespoons prepared horseradish

Directions

In a large metal bowl, warm olive oil over medium heat. Roll meat into small strips, then cut each strip into 1/4 inch strips.

Heat the butter and sugar in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the ground beef strips until browned. Drain grease from skillet, scraping pan and discarding water.

Place meat strips in the skillet. Fry for 2 minutes per side, or until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in mustard and ketchup. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until beef strips are browned.
