2 slices American cheese
1/2 loaf French bread
1 cup sliced Italian bread
1 green bell pepper
1/2 cup sliced onions
6 buttery round crackers
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3 squares white Swiss cheese
2 tablespoons dried oregano
Place Swiss cheese and oregano on a 3 (4 ounce) sheet of bread. Top with slices of American cheese, and arrange the bread side up in the middle of the Swiss cheese.
Make the Ruffles: Beat cream cheese and Swiss cheese together in a small bowl, until well blended. Fold in cracker crumbs, and spread into layers on hamburger rolls. Serve burgers with red onions and cheese sauce.
Top with Ricotta Cheese: Combine cream cheese, cream cheese and Swiss cheese; spread cream cheese mixture over both sides of rolls.
