1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O
1 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup white sugar
1/2 pound butter, softened
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon orange extract
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon sunflower seed extract
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon orange extract
In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, orange flavored gelatin, boiling water and vanilla until smooth.
In a medium bowl, mix white sugar and butter. Mix until smooth. Stir in flour, stir in cocoa, vanilla and orange extract.
Shape mixture into a 1/2 inch thick rectangle. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
Remove from oven, and brush cream cheese mixture with egg, sunflower extract and butter. Brush cooled cream cheese mixture with 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, then cut into squares. Cool mixture completely before removing from cookie sheets.
Roll cream cheese squares into cream cheese slices. Cover tightly with plastic wrap, and refrigerate cream cheese slices until serving.
