I was so excited to make this and was expecting so much more. Non of my guest liked it and they all tried it. To bland, the texture was off.Mostly my guest said it was just to bland they like the apple and the idea but it needed a lot more flavor.

My son thought this was amazing. It is a very light dish, and so my husband could eat it. He was probably disappointed that it was not thicker--it was too thin. Next time, I will try thicker cheese and perhaps I will add more eggs. If anyone tries thinner, please comment. It would be great for vegans, but I didnt have the cheese supply, so thanks for the recipe!

I made these for a Christmas party, and they were a hit! I made two small differences: I omitted the salt and reduced the butter/non-fat 3/4 cup. And I substituted coconut for the coconut milk. These turned out perfect cookies. I will try to bake again, but probably won't due to the cookies not being as flakey as they looked. TL;DR;- day old donuts (I baked them in a toaster oven for about 15 minutes) gave a soft dough with a little crispness, but otherwise followed the recipe. Learned from another reviewer that coconut works best as a binder for non-cake forms, as it holds the dough in place, doesn't crumble, and tends to stay in place longer (since I have a lot of non-cake forming ingredients). My wife is a huge fan of coconut and chocolate but she did not approve of this recipe. Like others have said, it has a tendency to thaw and expand as it warms up in the fridge. Once this recipe cooled, I inverted it and it became a little harder, which is normal because I poured in the oatmeal much longer than the recipe prescribes. As it cooled, I tried adding coconut milk, but it didn't help. I would add a little more ice water, perhaps 1 cup, depending on the size and shape of your bananas. Once this recipe had cooled, I inverted it and put it in the freezer, completely unbaked. Un-baked until I removed the seals, then baked. These were amazing. I actually gave this five stars since removing the chocolate and coconut didn't help matters at all. I wouldn't change a thing in this recipe and would
