6 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 teaspoons lemon juice
salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a medium bowl, mix together the cranberries, white sugar and butter. Stir in lemon juice.
Pour cranberry/white sugar mixture into a small bowl, stir in the lemon juice and salt and pepper. Layer layer onto a 9x13 inch baking dish and top with crumbled pretzels.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, until set but not brown.
