1 cup heavy cream
1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (10.75 ounce) can whole kernel corn
2 tablespoons paprika
3 tablespoons dried oregano
3 tablespoons dried Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
8 cloves garlic, peeled, crushed and minced
5 bay leaves
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper to taste

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, tomato paste and entire corn and paprika. Cook, stirring frequently, until thick and creamy, about 1 minute.
Meanwhile, heat 3 tablespoons oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in basil and 8 cloves of garlic, 1 bay leaf, salt and pepper. Simmer, stirring, until desired thickness is reached. Remove bay leaf from heat and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
