Orange Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients

3 egg yolks

1 cup white sugar

4 egg whites

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3/4 teaspoon salt

3 eggs

1/3 cup orange juice

1/4 cup orange liqueur

3 bananas

2 tablespoons lemon juice

3 1/2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and lightly grease a large baking sheet.

In a large bowl, whip egg yolks, sugar, and egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add vanilla, salt and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Blend until smooth. Spread onto prepared baking sheet.

Bake 20 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool completely before serving. Whip 2 tablespoons of hot milk or pudding mixture to bring just to a boil.
