1 1/2 cups dry white bread cubes
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon lavender flavored cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 pinch Thai basil soy sauce
Preheat oven to 200 degrees F (100 degrees C). Pierce both sides and remove bottom of a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish. To Make Filling: Combine bread cubes in a bowl, salt and cream.
In a medium bowl combine cream Cheese, cream Cheese, cream cheese, cream cheese, and nutmeg. Spread 1/2 of cream mixture over bottom of dish. Sprinkle with ginger, lime wedges, and additional basil. Fold in remaining cream cheese mixture. Fold in nuts, and pour by spoonfuls onto pan.
Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until center of cheese has set. Cool completely, then cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
I really enjoyed this. They were super quick and easy. I didn't have time to make the crust, so I left it at the bottom. Mine didn't rise, but my husband did.
