1/2 cup milk
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/5 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg white
1/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch jellyroll pan.
In a large bowl, combine milk and confectioners' sugar, salt, flour, baking soda, and 1 egg white. Mix all together and set aside. In a second bowl, beat together rice and butter. Stir in chocolate chips and pour into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until crack is firm and lightly browned.
