1/2 cup butter
1 pound ground beef
1 cup water
8 ounces lean ground beef
1 (15 ounce) can peeled and diced tomatoes
1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1/2 cup Italian-style salad dressing
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup Italian-style salad dressing
Place ground beef into the 3 quart, non-reactive saucepan with water. Heat over medium heat until medium-cooked, about 8 minutes. Drain, and allow to cool.
In a 7x9 baking dish or casserole pan, fill meat filling with the tomatoes. Sprinkle with the tomato paste, tomato paste, Italian-style dressing, ketchup, and milk.
In a small bowl, whisk together the tomato paste and tomato paste.
Cover, and refrigerate overnight or overnight.
