Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (14 ounce) can pizza sauce

1 (5 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 cup white sugar

1 cup canned whole pecans

1/3 cup butter

1 1/2 cups milk

1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, cream cheese and pizza sauce. Beat until blended. Reserve one of the mixtures for use with the other cake mix.

In a large bowl, combine the melted mixture with the remaining mixtures. Stir together until smooth.

Stir the remaining mixtures with the remaining pudding mix, then the corn. Pour into prepared pan and arrange pecan over the top. Pour about 1/4 cup of the whipped topping over the pecan. Then layer the remaining pudding mix over the top. Spread pecan mixture over the entire pan.

Bake for 22 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Let cool completely before frosting with your favorite frosting frosting.
