1 head cabbage, shredded
2 potatoes, cubed
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pound pork, cut into 1 inch cubes
Heat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add cabbage and potatoes and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
Mix butter and salt into boiling water, then add potatoes and cook 3 minutes. Stir in pork cubes and cook 1 minute more. Stir in potatoes and cook 2 minutes more. Stir in chicken and cook 1 minute more. Stir in potatoes, onion, salt, pepper, and brown sugar. Cook until all vegetables are tender, 6 to 10 minutes. Serve hot.
