1 egg
1 tablespoon cold water
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
8 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
salt to taste
1 egg white
2 tablespoons butter
In a medium-size medium mixing bowl, combine egg, water, flour and sugar. Stir in salt and salt to taste
work in a large bowl. Fold confectioners' sugar and salt into dough. Knead 2 tablespoons butter into dough at a time, until all butter has melted. Roll dough into 10 6-inch disks 1 to 1/2 inch thick. Place disk on a cookie sheet and cut into wedges like flaked biscuit dough.
Line up covered cookie sheets with parchment paper, making sure sheets are at least 3 inches from the sides of the pan. Let cookies sit out overnight in preheated oven before removing from cookie sheets.
