2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg white, beaten
3/4 cup cold water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries, rinsed and dried
1 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, stir together flour sugar, baking powder, salt and egg white. Set aside. In a large bowl, stir together water, vanilla and butter. Stir in chocolate chips and oats. Stir in strawberries, walnuts and dried oats, 1 cup of oats. Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto unprepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
