12 ounces sliced tomatoes
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1/2 inch pieces
3 onions, sliced
2 poblano chile peppers, chopped
1 tomato, chopped
3 cloves garlic, peeled, pitted and minced
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
1 tablespoon dried oregano
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
In a medium bowl combine tomatoes, melted butter or margarine, onion, tomatoes, tomato, garlic and peppers. Heat through. Whisk in ground beef and sugar or Worcestershire sauce.
Return pureed meat to a large pot over medium-high heat. Saute until meat is browned, stirring occasionally. Add tomatoes, beef, onion, chile peppers and potato size crumbs to pot; saute until all ingredients are almost done.
add salt and pepper to taste, then, season with oregano. Heat through and serve.
