1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup white sugar
1 (18.25 ounce) package prepared chocolate graham cracker crust
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon white sugar
3 eggs
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups raisins (optional)
8 dates, pitted and scrubbed
1/2 cup chopped almonds (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 5x11 inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and brown sugar. Mix thoroughly. Press mixture evenly into bottom of prepared crust.
Place softened butter or margarine in 8-quart Dutch oven, Heat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Combine eggs, milk and vanilla extract in medium bowl. Beat until smooth. Stir until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes. Press mixture into prepared crust.
Bake 45 minutes, until set; cool 15 minutes in pan. Push one piece of plastic around edges upon clear medium release from pan. Allow to cool 10 minutes in refrigerator before removing.
