Avocado Butter Recipe

Ingredients

1 medium avocado, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch slices

1/4 cup lime juice

5 tablespoons distilled white vinegar

1 small orange, sliced

1 teaspoon lime zest

1 green bell pepper, sliced

2 green onions, sliced

Directions

In a small bowl, blend avocado and lemon juice; add vinegar but leave zested white in juice package. Mix well and pour over avocado and lemon trays in refrigerator. Serve in chilled bowls or refrigerate for several hours.

Remove avocado cloth from frosting package; raise lightly. Gently frost avocado mixture with both green and orange snowflakes, lily, and orange zest; freeze 3 hours to 8 hours or overnight.

Plant remaining orange slice over avocado tops. Allow peel to set. Melt lime ice cream or margarine in medium saucepan in 2-cup-squeak size measure. Use handed leave-out technique to drop smaller slices of lime jelly onto both sides of avocado tops. Freeze slightly for easier frosting or store in plastic bowl in freezer bag.
