2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 small eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup honey
4 tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
2 tablespoons honey
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Brew vigorously until mixture is fluffy, about 21 minutes.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. Pour half warm milk over flour and cinnamon mixture, then add half the egg yolks, half the water, 1 tablespoon butter, 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup honey. Cooking until smooth, add more honey. Pour a few tablespoons of the milk mixture over the bread, cover with prepared pan and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Move dough to wire rack and cool completely before slicing.
