1 cup prunes
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 cup water
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 cup white sugar
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine prunes, 1/3 cup sugar and butter. Bring to a quick simmer, then reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, or overnight.
Combine prunes, sugar and milk in a large bowl. Pour into baked dish and sprinkle mixture over baked macaroni. Let stand 20 minutes before serving.
