2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped almonds
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, salt and butter. Stir in the eggs one at a time, mixing just until the mixture begins to form a ball. Stir in the sugar and pecans; mixture will be sticky. Fold in the chocolate chips and cocoa. Spread evenly into the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool on wire racks.
