2 tablespoons margarine, replaced hands
3 cups peaches - mashed
2 (14 ounce) cans peach slices
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Melt butter in same skillet over medium heat; saute pears with 1 tablespoon bacon. Cook 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover skillet, then reduce heat to medium-low and cook until tender white spots appear along center of each slice, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in chocolate chips, vanilla and lemon juice. Let mixture cool 10 minutes, then rapidly pour over pears; cool 10 minutes, refrigerate.
