1/2 cup butter, softened
1 (24 ounce) jar frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 (16 ounce) packages facsimile at-home pizza dough
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl, stir together the melted butter, whipped topping and pizza dough in a rotating motion until smooth. Transfer dough to the prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool before serving.
I made this recipe for a Christmas party and it was a hit - I used a prepared crust and butter and didn't have sour cream. I was going to leave out the sprinkles but added more brown sugar and more brown sugar syrup to the dough and that made it more cake-like-like. The whole family loved it - mine included.
