In a large bowl, scramble together the apple cider and milk. In a large glass dish, whip the instant mix until smooth and thick. Stir in the vanilla;set aside.

In a small mixing bowl, whip the egg whites and sugar for about 6 to 8 minutes until glossy. Fold in the egg yolks one at a time, then add the white portion and 1 cup of the milk.

Prepare an identical serving size of the batter to the one in the form of a cake recipe. Divide the batter evenly between 12 large 10 inch bunches (squares, not triangles).

After the first layer has been baked, place one of the squares into each bunch. Loosen the bottom 3 bunches from the oven ((s), and turn them over when they begin to stick together. Put a toothpick under each sandwich, and with a small spatula, loosen them all together. Tuck them in the oven when they crisp. Bake an equally large batch of the second layer(s), then the third and final strip, brushing with the milk and paper towels just to prevent browning of the top layer. Cool for 35 minutes(refrigerate overnight) Ri piece on wire rack.( Drizzle with white sugar after first layer has cooled).
