1 pound fresh mushrooms, chopped
3 tablespoons butter
2 cups milk
1/2 medium head cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup lean ground beef
1 (10 ounce) can tomato paste
2 tablespoons butter
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C.)
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter or margarine. Stir in milk, cabbage, ground beef, tomato paste and butter. Simmer 15 minutes, until all liquid is absorbed.
Pour into pie shell. Bake for 40 minutes, or until topping is golden and lightly browned.
