3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups milk chocolate cookies, crushed
3 egg whites
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and flour. Set aside. In a separate bowl, stir together brown sugar, salt and milk. In a third bowl, beat the egg and butter mixture. And stir in the vanilla. Drop a dough by marble, or 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch, onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 7 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until firm. Remove from baking sheets to cool on wire racks.
To make the Dipping Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, 2 teaspoons salt and 1 cup of milk; set aside. Stir together the butter mixture and vanilla, just until blended.
Serve dough in a bowl with patties, paying special attention to the bottom.
After 6 to 7 minutes, remove 5 to 6 minutes from the bowl, and transfer to a warmed bowl to cool on wire racks.
