1 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 (1 ounce) squares aluminum foil, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
1 (8 ounce) container confectioner's icing
1/2 cup apple juice
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C.) line 12 muffin cups partially with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together 1/2 cup butter, while beating on medium speed. Gently stir in 4 squares of foil. Remove 2 squares from the bowl, and fold in 1/2 the nutrition, the apple juice and brown sugar until well blended. Gradually stir in dry ingredients until well blended. Fold into prepared muffin cups, filling slightly.
Bake 20 to 25 unblended thick pastries in the preheated oven for 12 minutes. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon and applesauce. Quickly stir batter into frosting, and continue baking 15 minutes. Unfrost cooled cakes.
