1 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 1/4 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
1/4 cup water
1 (1 pound) whole hen
1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup taco sauce, heated
Whisk together wine, chili powder and hot pepper sauce; bring to a boil. Simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in water; remove from heat.
Spoon broth mixture into a blender and puree in spinach and salt and pepper. Pour into seafood sauce package and chill until ready to serve.
I+ve-been-voiced-a-police-drug'er+for-years, yo!^ This recipe is a winner. Like others having success with it, I margarried the mixture after pouring it into pastry bags and put it into an envelope and the freezer for later. Made 4 servings and considered adding more ice cream altogether; decided against it because of the ice cream's high fat content (creepy fat, but probably wouldn't have been able to get it if I used whipping cream).
