1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese, olive oil and dry white wine. Beat in the basil, pepper and parsley. Stir in the flour mixture, 3 tablespoons at a time, until all the flour has been used up. On a floured surface, roll the dough out to 1/4 inch in thickness. Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Divide the slices into 1/2 inch thick sections and press them close together with a cookie or pastry blade.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the top is golden.
