3 cups water
1 pound ground peanut butter
3 tablespoons white sugar
8 slices bacon, finely chopped
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 cup raisins
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup water
In a large pot, combine water and peanut butter. Cook over high heat until thick and smooth. Stir in sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of the salt and heat until heated.
Allow mixture to cool to lukewarm. Stir in bacon and butter, and bring mixture to a boil.
Meanwhile, in a separate pot, stir together bread crumbs and 1 cup raisins. Stir in water and heat through until thick. Serve warm.
