1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups diced cooked ham
1 cup chopped carrots
6 cups fried egg noodles
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons bacon grease
salt and pepper to taste
In a large pot, combine onion, chicken broth, sausage, cooked ham, peeled and chopped carrots, and eggs. Cook and stir until vegetables begin to soften but remain firm. Add bacon grease, salt and pepper. Heat to desired temperature, 3 to 5. Serve hot.
