2 pounds potato, diced
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
salt and pepper to taste
salt to taste
Thoroughly separate potatoes; place them in a large bowl. Heat the mixture over medium heat with the tablespoon of melted butter or margarine used to sift the potatoes.
Lightly fry the potatoes until they set.
Fill the pot with water, and simmer until potatoes rise to about 2 inches in height and bottom has become sticky., turn potatoes, and continue cooking 10 to 15 more minutes. Drain; top with apples.
