1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cups bread flour
1 cup raisins
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup water
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a 2 quart baking dish.
In a medium bowl, stir together the oats and honey. Stir in melted butter or margarine, egg and brown sugar. Stir in the flour and salt; mix until well blended. Pour in water and oil and mix until well combined. Spoon into prepared baking dish, sprinkle baking powder over top and pour over flour/oil mixture.
Bake 60 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden. Cool in pan on wire rack for 30 minutes before removing from pan to cool completely. Sprinkle baking powder over top of browned loaf.
