1 cup water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons ground black pepper
4 pounds ground beef
2 1/2 cups dry milk
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine water, lemon juice, salt, pepper and ground beef. Stir in dry milk, lemon juice, salt, pepper and ground beef.
In a separate, large bowl, combine milk, lemon juice, salt, ground black pepper, egg, lemon juice, salt, pepper, 3/4 cup dry bread crumbs, 1/4 cup butter and 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg. Mix well.
Divide beef mixture evenly among 4 baking sheets, and bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes.
For the sauce: In a large saucepan, combine 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs, 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
