Easy Pastry Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 cup confectioners' sugar

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup white sugar

1 egg, beaten

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup buttermilk

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup buttermilk

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

Combine butter, confectioners' sugar, milk, and sugar in a small bowl. Beat until well blended. Stir in egg and buttermilk. Gradually stir flour into milk/liquefied milk, beating well after each addition. Pour batter into prepared cookie sheet, 3/4 full, on prepared cookie sheet.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Cool on wire rack. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or foil. Line baking sheet with foil.
