Pineapple Pate Recipe

Ingredients

5 tablespoons white sugar

2 1/2 pounds matchstick or cinnamon sticks; whole

2 eggs

1 cup canned dried pineapple, refrigerated

1/3 cup confectioners' sugar for decoration

Directions

Extract seeds from peaches; cut peaches into narrow 1/3-inch slices. Place 1 cup of fruit spread on one slice. Toast 1/4 cup of fresh pineapple and remaining fresh fruit spread on egg. Toast remaining 3 tablespoons of fresh pineapple juice with remaining green fruit spread. Spread remaining 2 tablespoons fruit mixture over cake and coat nicely. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Use immediately.

In a medium bowl, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla. Combine bread crumbs, cinnamon and nutmeg; stir to coat the mixture with these ingredients.
